Glaucoma is a disease that initially takes your peripheral vision and, if left untreated, will result in total irreversible blindness. Most forms of Glaucoma have no symptoms of pain or noticeable vision changes. This is why it is imperative that you have a annual exam even if your vision in 20/20.
